Aleksandar Trajanoski, Deputy Mayor of the City of Skopje and an independent councilor in the City Council, stated at Monday’s session that he does not support the amendment of the advisory group of VMRO-DPMNE for the allocation of financial resources to FC Vardar in the amount of 15 million euros in order to financial help for the football club to return to the Premier League, on the grounds that VMRO-DPMNE is the only advisory group that proposes amendments to rebalance the aid budget 45 days before the end of the calendar year.
“I see that in this discussion it is true that they want to win the sympathy of those who love sports, and all this is done for the existence of this sports club. I cannot say that FC Vardar is a successful business or management model because this positive practice, which is not positive at all, but on the contrary is illegitimate, has been repeated throughout all these decades,” Trajanovski said.
