The Macedonian Minister of Foreign Affairs Bujar Osmani on Sunday presented the first phase of the E-CONSULATE project, a digitized platform of consular services, which significantly simplifies the process of obtaining a certain document and increases the efficiency of diplomatic-consular missions abroad.

The project has been in preparation for a long time and stems from the complaints, comments and suggestions of our citizens abroad and the diaspora.

According to Osmani, instead of coming to our diplomatic-consular offices and submitting the applications, now they will be able to do it online, through their mobile phones, and for some of the requested documents, they will be able to get them back by mail very soon, which would even shorten two trips to our representative offices.
