The arrangements for the New Year holidays on the shore of Lake Ohrid increased
by 40 to 50 percent. Ohrid has already been confirmed as an attractive Balkan
destination, but HOTAM says that as a result of the energy crisis, the increase in the
prices of the arrangements and the reduced purchasing power, the hotel facilities are
almost half booked up to this moment, but it still remains uncertain because,
according to tradition, a large part is booked only a few days before the New Year’s
Eve.
If until last year a three-day New Year's arrangement cost about 150 euros, this year
the price due to inflation is 250 euros.
