At today’s press conference at the Club of MPs, the vice-president of the European Investment Bank, Liljana Pavlova, denied the accusations by Skopje M ayor Danela Arsovska, that the former director of PE Water Supply and Sewerage Zlatko Perinski influenced the tender documentation for the treatment plant.
Asked by the media, Pavlova said that the project was crystal clear, indicating that the EIB has not determined any deviations from the rules and procedures.
“The procurement process was successfully completed, there were no concessions and we have the green light to sign the contracts for construction and supervision by Water Supply and Sewerage. We have no problems and I look forward to the deadlines and dates when the contracts will be signed and the implementation will start successfully,” said Pavlova.
