Despite all the praise and recognition of officials from EU member states towards Macedonia, only Filipce and Radev are on the same line demanding constitutional amendments. Everyone from the EU is closely following the reforms of the Macedonian government and welcoming them, saying that we are leaders in the region, only Filipche and Radev say that the only reform is constitutional amendments, VMRO-DPMNE spokesperson Valentin Manasievski told a press conference Sunday.
“After a long time of kneeling and gullibility by the authorities led by SDS, now European representatives see a statesmanlike approach from the Macedonian government led by VMRO-DPMNE and say that we deserve a predictable European path. Only Venko Filipche and Rumen Radev do not think so,” said the spokesperson for the ruling party.
Manasievski described the leader of the opposition SDSM, Venko Filipche, as “soft tissue”, accusing him of being “on the same line” with Bulgarian President Rumen Radev, which is in favor of Sofia.
“Instead of standing behind Macedonian interests, they are preparing an even greater betrayal. We ask SDSM and Filipche, what more do they want to do to harm Macedonia and be remembered in history as the greatest traitors of the homeland?” Manasievski told reporters.
