Just before Ursula Von Der Leyen’s visit on Monday, the Democratic Union (DS) expects representatives of the Government and the President to insist that Macedonia start negotiations with the EU without any conditions and requirements that are not part of the Copenhagen criteria, the Democratic Union (DS) party said in a press release on Sunday.
“Since 2006, Macedonia has made several unprincipled concessions, changing the flag, the Constitution and the name of the state, which threaten our identity values.
By the end of this year, the European Union should open the negotiation clusters, access funds and put Macedonia on the fast track for full membership. The EU owes it to its citizens,” added the political party.
