The organized crime group VMRO and Mickoski are announcing with great fanfare that industrial production went up by 7.6% in April 2026. This is a classic example of statistical manipulation and selective presentation of data. According to the data of the State Statistical Office, in the first four months of 2026, industrial production grew by only 0.2%. This is practically stagnation, the opposition SDSM reacted to Sunday’s announcement by VMRO-DPMNE about significant industrial growth.
On top of all this, the Government is still bragging that it will further indebt the citizens, the opposition party claims in a press release.
“The credit line of EUR 230 million that the Government mentions is not proof of success – it is new debt that will be paid by the citizens,” accused SDSM.
