After the end of the Government reshuffle talks over the weekend between VMRO-DPMNE and coalition partners ZNAM and VLEN, top government officials briefed that the negotiations went smoothly.
The final decision on which names will leave the Government and the highest positions in the state will be known next week, in its first half. The coalition, on the other hand, according to what was said today, is stable and it will only be a question of personnel changes.
“After the end of the first phase of the talks with the coalition partners over the weekend, we can conclude that the meetings took place in a constructive atmosphere, in the spirit of mutual respect, partnership and joint determination to further improve the work of the Government,” reads the press release.
One thing crystallized in the negotiations between this party, which is the leader of the ruling coalition, and the leaders of VLEN and ZNAM – that all coalition partners share the commitment “for the Government to continue at an accelerated pace in the implementation of program priorities and the reforms expected by citizens.”
What will happen with the distribution of portfolios, the public find out by the middle of next week.
“During the talks, it was emphasized that the reshuffle is not driven by party or personal interests, but by the need for additional strengthening of the institutional capacity and even more efficient implementation of the government program,” said VMRO-DPMNE.
