As AMSM informs, on the A2 motorway section: Skopje – Ohrid – Skopje (valid until September 1), the movement of heavy goods vehicles whose total mass exceeds 7.5 tons is prohibited during weekends, in the following intervals: Friday from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m., Saturday from 7 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 8 p.m. to 12 a.m.and Sunday from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m.

“This special traffic regime is being introduced during the summer in order to avoid traffic congestion on the road section to the most visited tourist destination in the Republic of Macedonia, reduce congestion at toll booths and generally ensure faster vehicle flow and unhindered movement of tourists,”AMSM said.
