SDS behaves in public as if it is the sole representative of Macedonia’s European perspective, VMRO-DPMNE MP Ivanka Vasilevska said Sunday.
“Instead of contributing to the adoption of legal solutions that are part of the reform agenda and European progress, SDS chooses political blockades and activities that distort the image of its own country before the international public. It is hypocritical that SDS had the opportunity to implement key reforms for seven years, only to act today as if those obligations had begun yesterday. Their behavior in the Parliament clearly shows the difference between the rhetoric coming from their press conferences and reality. They do not vote on reform laws, they run away from working groups, and now they are trying to slow down the reform process.
However, unlike their policy of obstruction, the Government led by VMRO-DPMNE is delivering concrete results. We are implementing reforms through concrete legal solutions and fulfilling obligations. Macedonia will once again be a leader in the region this year in terms of the dynamics of implementing reforms and commitment to building a European future,” noted MP Vasilevska.
