Macedonian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade Timcho Mucunski responded to former Foreign Minister Bujar Osmani, saying that he is the last person who has the right to lecture on what was accepted and what was not in the negotiation process.
In a post on social media, Mucunski stresses that Osmani knows very well what exactly he negotiated, what he accepted and in what unenviable position he left the country, at the same time telling him not to waste energy on twisting facts and interpreting other people’s statements.
“Unlike his spins, the position of this Government is clear and unchanged. For more than two years now we have been listening to accusations that we will give in and accept everything that was agreed earlier. Instead, we demonstrated consistency, principles and clear protection of the Macedonian national interests through our actions. This is clear both at home and among our international partners,” said the incumbent FM.
Foreign Minister Mucunski also says that the political memory of citizens is not short and that they know very well who brought the country into this situation, and who is now unsuccessfully trying to escape their own responsibility.
