The public call for subsidies for connecting to natural gas and purchasing a gas boiler is underway, through which households can receive financial support of up to 30,000 denars, or up to 70 percent of the costs incurred.
The deadline for submitting applications is October 31, 2026, and all interested citizens who meet the requirements have enough time to take advantage of this opportunity.
With this measure, the state not only helps families reduce their own investment costs, but also contributes to greater energy efficiency, the use of cleaner energy and improving the quality of the environment.
Households that will connect their home to the natural gas distribution system during 2026, as well as households that will purchase a natural gas boiler for a facility that was connected to the system by January 1, 2026, are entitled to financial support. One application can be submitted per household.
MKD 3 million have been provided for this measure, and the funds will be allocated in accordance with the terms of the public call. The funds will be allocated on a “first come, first served” basis, until funds run out.
