In the second quarter we have exceptionally high economic activity and GDP growth of 4.3 percent, which is a recognition of the Government’s policies, Macedonian Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski said Friday. The PM says that the country will continue to move forward.

“Macedonia will continue to move forward. It is not easy, not all problems have been solved because many problems are inherited. What is important is that we work and that we try to solve everything that has been inherited, and not create new problems. The results after 25-26 months are finally coming to the surface. We have growth in industrial production, stabilized inflation. This growth of 4.3% when added to the growth in the first quarter of 3.1% gives a figure of 3.7% in the first half of this year, which is one of the strongest in Europe. Now I again call on those on social media to start mocking me, but I will stand by my position that this is one of the four largest GDP growths,” said PM Mickoski.
