Twelve wildfires have been registered on Wednesday, of which five are active, four are under control, and three fires have been extinguished, said the Crisis Management Center (CMC) Wednesday.
As reported by the Crisis Management Center, the fires are active in the Municipality of Struga: village of Burinec – village of Lokov – village of Selce – village of Elevci (low-growing forest), Municipality of Makedonski Brod: village of Belica, village of Kajorec towards village of Breznica, near the repetitor (low-growing and mixed forest), Municipality of Chucher-Sandevo: village of Brest, village of Ramno (mixed forest), Municipality of Kriva Palanka: village of Osiche, a place called Ramni Kamen (pine forest) and Municipality of Gostivar: village of Pechkovo (low vegetation and low-growing plants).
The fires are under control in the Municipality of Makedonski Brod: village of Benche (forest fire), Municipality of Kichevo: village of Tajmishte, m.v. Darda (low vegetation), Municipality of Saraj: village of Kopanica (forest fire) and Municipality of Gjorche Petrov: village of Grachani and village of Nikishtani (forest).
According to the CMC, the fires in the Municipality of Kichevo have been extinguished: above the village of Knezhino, m.v. Crn Kamen (forest fire), Municipality of Novo Selo: above the village of Stinik (forest and low vegetation) and village of Bardovci Municipality of Karposh in the Municipality of Karposh.
