PM Mickoski attends 25th commemoration of 9/11 attacks in New York

The Macedonian delegation to the United Nations General Assembly, led by Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski, attended on Thursday an event commemorating the 25th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks in New York.
The commemoration was led by NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte, in attendance of representatives from U.S. allied nations that invoked NATO’s mutual defense clause following the attacks, to show solidarity with the United States.
“America is strong. It remains the world’s greatest power. But America does not have to go it alone. America’s allies in NATO are with you. No one should ever doubt our resolve. That was true 25 years ago. It is true today,” Rutte said in his keynote speech at the commemorative event hosted by the 9/11 Memorial & Museum.
