Venko Filipche and the current leadership oppose everything that leads to economic growth and a better standard of living on a daily basis. Every day, they oppose something and announce blockades. Filipche says that SDS will block the opening of new mines. SDS is also against new industries and data centers, VMRO-DPMNE MP Brane Petrushevski told a press briefing Friday.
“He also claims every day that he will not allow the sell-off of Macedonia, yet it was Zoran Zaev who gave away everything he possibly could, and, to use Filipche’s own terminology, ‘sold it off’,” added Petrushevski.
“With his almost daily public appearances, Filipche looks desperate; he clearly has only one goal, to remain on the political scene and nothing more, because his party is dying out. With this, Filipche demonstrates a lack of capacity for rational judgment and reasoning. Yet there is one fact, and it is clear: it was precisely the criminal activities and the sell-off of the state that relegated SDS to deep opposition,” underlined the ruling party representative.
