SDSM leader cannot blame everyone else for the party’s current state, says ruling party

VMRO-DPMNE has leveled sharp criticism at SDSM leader Venko Filipche, accusing him of attempting to shift the responsibility for SDSM’s situation onto other political parties.

The ruling party says that SDSM’s condition is a consequence of the current leadership’s policies and claims that factions are forming within the opposition party with the aim of ousting Filipche from the leadership position.

“Venko cannot blame everyone else for the state SDSM is in. The party is in this condition specifically because Venko Filipche is at the helm, a situation with which, evidently, no one agrees; indeed, entire opposition fronts are being created to remove Venko from the leadership of SDSM,” VMRO-DPMNE stressed.

The ruling party notes that, in their assessment, SDSM is facing low levels of public support following the recent election results. They also claim that former SDSM officials have long been publicly calling for Filipche to step down from the leader’s post.
