The parents and families of the Kochani Pulse nightclub fire have shared information that one of the defendants in the trial is pressuring the prosecution’s witnesses.
“We have information that the person J.J., who is serving a detention measure in the Skopje prison, provides a mobile phone to the person Todor Jovanov, the monster’s brother, who is pressuring the witnesses of the prosecution via Viber communication. We urge the competent services to verify this information and to thoroughly check the communications made through this phone. A genocide of a young generation occurred due to greed, corruption and reckless work, and yet work continues in that direction. We, the parents of these young murdered children, will not allow the truth to remain hidden. The truth must come to light, there must be justice for our murdered children,” said Julija Zlatkova, the mother of Tomas Zlatkov who was killed on the fateful night in the Pulse nightclub.
Five prosecution witnesses are scheduled to testify Thursday in the Pulse fire trial in the Idrizovo courtroom.
