I strongly deny the slander and fabricated allegations made by attorneyLejlaKadriu in an interview on TV Alfa’s BogdanIlievski’s Evening Show, broadcast on February 7, 2026, said public prosecutor Gavril Bubevski in his statement to the public.
“The allegations regarding my actions and the work of the former SPO are untrue and created in order to harm my personal and professional reputation, for which immediately after the show I initiated a procedure in which I asked her to apologize for the publicly stated lies. If I do not receive an apology within the legally prescribed deadline, I will file a civil lawsuit for defamation and it will be proven in court that everything that was said in the aforementioned show is an absolute lie,”saidBubevski.
The prosecutor assures that he never had four mobile phones and that he only used one official phone number.
“I reject all allegations of any influence and stand behind every decision I have made. In a large part of the situations that were presented, such as the handover of the wiretapped materials to the SPO, I personally was not present at all, for which I have appropriate evidence,” the prosecutor added.
According to Bubevski, the reasons for Kadriu’s dismissal were procedural and he expects that “the truth will be provenin court proceedings against the lies with which “brave” individuals have been manipulating the general public for a long period of time, and thus their credibility as sources of information in the media regarding the real situation in the judiciary will be established.”
