Bujar Osmani is trying to create the impression that he stood in ‘defense’ of imam Bekir Halimi and activist Valon Bela, after both were declared persona non grata by the Albanian Government, demanding that this decision be reconsidered, the ruling VLEN said Saturday.
“Bujar’s hypocrisy resembles the popular saying: He kills you at night, he mourns you in the morning. This is because everyone knows that it is Bujar and DUI who directly influence the Government in Tirana to declare as enemies those who do not like them among the Albanians in North Macedonia,” VLEN said.
Neither Halimi nor Bela found themselves on Rama’s so-called blacklist without the influence of Bujar and DUI, adds VLEN.
“The irony is that it was precisely the exponents of DUI who were among the first to welcome the idea of Albanians from North Macedonia being added to Albania’s blacklist. This duplicity of Bujar reminds us of the “Monster” case, when Bujar, at the behest of Jankuloska, claimed in some media that Haki Aziri had disappeared of his own free will, while in other media he demanded an international investigation into fabricated cases by the governments in which he himself was appointed minister. But the Albanians have long recognized Bujar’s hypocrisy and punished him with their vote,” underlined the Macedonian party of ethnic Albanians VLEN.
