We are curious to learn more about the idea behind German Chancellor Friedrich Merz’s proposal for gradual integration into the European Union, Macedonian Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski said Friday.
“We have been hearing these thoughts and ideas for a long time, I could not say anything until it becomes official. Chancellor Merz announced this development of events at the Berlin Process meeting in London last year and I commented on it then – that new proposals will be made, new opportunities in the region, etc. What I can say at this point is that we are curious to find out more about what the idea is. That, I assume, will happen at the summit in Tivat from June 4th to 5th, I will be there. I look forward to hearing these concepts and these ideas. Once we have more substance, then we will be able to share it with the public,” said Mickoski.
