VMRO-DPMNE Central Committee member Valentin Manasievski accused the SDSM leadership of cooperating with opposition structures in Serbia at a press conference Tuesday.
According to Manasievski, SDSM Secretary General Aleksandar Sasha Dimitrijevikj met in Skopje with Serbian politician Branko Ruzhikj, former Minister of Education in Serbia. He claims that the purpose of the meeting was to form a joint opposition front.
Manasievski pointed out that Ruzhikj who had previously been suspended by the Socialist Party of Serbia (SPS), is again acting in an oppositional manner, and that his visit to Macedonia was in that context.

Additionally, VMRO-DPMNE accuses that former Prime Minister Zoran Zaev and Zoran Bashanovikj, who they claim are working in the interests of the Serbian opposition, are behind these activities.

Manasievski asked several questions to Dimitrijevikj and SDSM, seeking clarification on the meeting, the possible presence of other political representatives from Serbia, as well as the goals of such cooperation. VMRO-DPMNE announced that at tomorrow’s press conference they will release additional information related to contacts between representatives of SDSM and the Serbian opposition.
