The double standards of SDS and Filipche and contradictions in the political actions of SDS and Filipche cannot be covered up with declarative commitments for a European future. That SDS and Filipche have no plan, strategy or vision for either their own party or the state, and that their sole goal is for Filipche to retain his seat at the helm of SDSM, is also evidenced by the fact that on the one hand SDS is selling itself as a European option, and on the other hand it is cooperating with people who have a pro-Russian orientation, VMRO-DPMNE accused Monday morning.
“SDS led by Venko Filipche is desperately trying to present themselves as a pro-European option while their actions, actions and statements constantly call that determination into question. SDS led by Filipche only declaratively advocates for Europe while spreading lies, fabrications and consciously misinterpreting the positions of European representatives such as the case of Thomas Waitz, trying to create chaos, distrust and spread panic.
SDS is a party of crime and criminals in its ranks, and while they are presenting themselves as a European option, their closest associates are Onishchenko, Borche Markovski, Miodrag Dividovikj – Daka and other pro-Russian businessmen,” the ruling party said in a press release.
“Filipche’s rhetoric contradicts European values, especially when their positions contradict the messages and positions of European institutions and representatives, and are immediately denied. Filipche has no credibility, he only blindly follows his mentor Zaev, with whom he is also connected through business schemes with persons who have pro-Russian interests. The relations of Filipche and SDS with individuals who have pro-Russian interests call into question the true priorities of SDS and the direction in which the party is moving,” added VMRO-DPMNE.
