Former first deputy Prime Minister and minister of inter-community relations Artan Grubi was detained at Blace border crossing early Monday morning.
Artan Grubi, wanted under an international arrest warrant for crime in line with Article 354 of the Criminal Code, was detained at the Blace border crossing today at 06.10 am, the Ministry of Interior (MoI) said in a press release.
On 18 December 2024, the MoI issued an international arrest warrant for Grubi and ex-head of the State Lottery, Perparim Bajrami, suspected of misappropriating around EUR 8 million from the State Lottery.
