Four suspects were arrested in Strumica and the Strumica region for setting fire to a former narcotics inspector’s Land Rover passenger vehicle, reports the Strumica Police Department.
The arrested were D.G. (19) from the village of Sekirnik, R.P. (38) from the village of Vladevci, A.T. (26) from the village of Ednokukjevo – all villages are in the Strumica region – as well as K.G. (19) from Strumica.
Police searches were carried out in the homes of R.P., A.T. and K.G., during which marijuana residues were found in R.P.’s home in Vladevci, a brown lumpy substance was found in A.T.’s home in Ednokukjevo, which he stated was hashish, and in K.G.’s home In Strumica, pieces of clothing were found that the police suspect he was wearing during the commission of the crime.
The public prosecutor has been informed of the measures taken and after fully documenting the events, an appropriate report will be filed, the Strumica Interior Department said in a press release Monday.
