Given that new snap parliamentary elections are planned in Bulgaria and the functioning of a caretaker executive branch, there is no one to talk to about constitutional amendments and the continuation of the European integration process, assessed Besa Movement leader Bilal Kasami at a press briefing in Tetovo.
“The Government is committed to realizing all duties undertaken in the area of integration as soon as possible. As for the constitutional amendments, this is a slightly more complex issue because it requires a more intensive dialogue with both Brussels and Sofia. We know that at the moment Bulgaria is preparing for new elections, so unfortunately we do not have a credible partner with whom we would talk about what will happen after the constitutional amendments. Because what is important for Macedonia is what will happen after the constitutional amendments, meaning not only the constitutional amendments themselves and the inclusion of the Bulgarian community in the Constitution,” said Kasami
