The three-day program is organized by the Municipality of Kochani, together with the Organizing Committee consisting of the Citizens’ Association “16 March”, the Kochani Red Cross, the “St. Great Martyr George” church, the Kochani Public Health Center, advisors and the “White Dawns” National Institution Center for Culture, with which they want to pay tribute to the victims of the tragedy in the Pulse nightclub fire.

The program activities are spread over three days – March 14th, 15th and 16th.
On March 14, Orthodox events dedicated to those who died in the accident will be held – prayerful remembrance and spiritual unity in their honor.

The event on March 15 is titled “Kochani Thank You”. This day will be dedicated to the injured and to gratitude to all institutions, health facilities, associations, individuals and everyone, all those who helped the young people survive and recover. The municipality has sent official invitations to the health institutions that were of immense support after the accident, and the municipality has also called on the injured children who are still in contact with the hospitals where they were treated – to invite their doctors and medical assistants.

“The Municipality of Kochani is here and will grant them a warm and cordial welcome, will provide them with accommodation and all the necessary honors,” says Mayor Vladko Grozdanov.

“We plan to present the invited delegations from the institutions and associations that made their contribution with statuettes of gratitude, after which the event will continue with a suitable cultural and artistic program – as an expression of life, hope and unity,” added the mayor.

The contents of March 16 will be dedicated to a dignified tribute to those who died in the tragedy at the Pulse nightclub. The young people that Kochani and Macedonia tragically lost deserve to be shown respect peacefully, with dignity and togetherness – as befits a community that remembers and cares, says the Kochani Municipality.
