VMRO-DPMNE MP and Executive Committee member Mile Lefkov in an interview with Alfa TV said at the very beginning that Macedonia is successfully implementing the Reform Agenda, pointing out that, according to the European Union’s assessments, nine out of ten planned points have been realized, and the country is assessed as the most successful in its implementation, VMRO-DPMNE said in a press release Friday.
“We have seen not only from our statements but also from Marta Kos’ statements that nine out of ten points have been achieved, Macedonia has been declared the most successful country in implementing the Reform Agenda and this is recognized by the funds it receives from the European Union for the implementation of this Reform Agenda, we said that the Reform Agenda is not being implemented only for the funds it receives but for harmonization with European legislation and raising standards, when it comes to public finance management, accountability, and reforms in the judiciary,” said Lefkov.
The ruling party MP pointed out that some of the opposition parties are changing their positions regarding the amendments to the Electoral Code and are trying to obstruct the process and stressed that the proposed voting model is already functioning in a large number of European Union member states and accused SDSM, DUI and Levica of trying to create resistance to the proposed solutions through political spin.
