The average monthly net wage paid per employee in March 2026 was MKD 48,433 or 8.2 percent higher than March 2025, the State Statistics Office (SOO) said Saturday.
This increase is primarily due to the increase in the average monthly net wage paid per employee in the sectors: Transport and storage by 15.6 percent, Real estate activities by 12.2 percent and Information and communications by 11.6 percent.
An increase in the average monthly net wage paid per employee, compared to the previous month, was recorded in the sectors: Transport and storage by 10.9 percent, Real estate activities by 9.1 percent and Information and communications by 8.5 percent.
