VMRO-DPMNE leader and Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski presented the new members of the party’s Executive Committee (EC) following a session of the ruling party’s Central Committee Friday evening. Mickoski also said MP Dragan Kovachki has been selected as VMRO-DPMNE’s new secretary general.
In a media statement after the session, party leader and Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski said VMRO-DPMNE’s Central Committee had decided to elect a new Executive Committee which, he said, represents a blend of experience with some of the people who were already part of the previous compositions of the Executive Committee, and new members.
“These decisions are a clear indication that the party is changing and adapting to new challenges. Our goal is to build a strong, efficient, and united structure that will provide concrete and responsible solutions to the needs of the citizens,” Mickoski noted.
Mickoski said the new heads of the party’s youth, women’s, and veteran’s wings would also be a part of the Executive Committee.
The VMRO-DPMNE leader adds that Ivica Tomovski, has been elected as the party’s organizational secretary, while Vladimir Nelovski will serve as Mickoski’s chief of staff.
