The deadline for completing the Ohrid-Kichevo motorway is May 2027, I expect it to be even before the deadline because the activities are going very well, Macedonian Deputy Prime Minister and Transport Minister Aleksandar Nikoloski told TV Sitel in an interview Wednesday evening.
“We have already launched a 37-kilometer route out of a total of 57 kilometers, I expect that during the summer we will have other functional kilometers and the entire motorway will be completed within the deadline. There were numerous issues, I said I will talk about them when we finish it. Now the problems have been solved and the most important thing is that this is the first government that is more dedicated to this project. I think the question is not only mathematical but also philosophical, I often say that this motorway has been under construction for 12 years, but in fact it has not been built for more than 2 years, if we want to be realistic,” underlined Nikoloski.
