The legal solution related to the possibility of taking the bar exam in Albanian will be sent for an opinion to the Venice Commission, Macedonian Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski told reporters on Wednesday.
“I support protests as a civil right in a democratic state. Any solution as a law will be sent to the Venice Commission,” Mickoski said.
The Prime Minister said he would not comment on the incidents and other developments related to the protests, indicating that the institutional procedure will continue through a legal solution and an opinion from the Venice Commission.
I support protests, but it bothers me when protesters violate the laws on the flag, anthem, and Constitution
“I always support protests, it is a democratic right to support protests and I have no dilemma here. I personally am bothered by the fact that protesters who are lawyers who fight for the right violate the law, let’s say the law on flags, the law on the national anthem, the constitution, and so on. I will not comment on the insults, that is all part of the domestic upbringing that is acquired in the first 7 years of life. I will not comment on the violent incident that occurred, nor on the external interference in the internal affairs of Macedonia by external factors. We will leave all of that as folklore,” said PM Mickoski.
