The Macedonian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade informs that according to the latest information received from the diplomatic and consular missions, currently more than 400 Macedonian nationals have requested information regarding the possibility of evacuation, while about 30 of them have expressed their readiness to leave the country at the first possible opportunity.
Regular and continuous communication is maintained with all registered persons, during which preparatory activities are being undertaken for possible assistance and their safe evacuation, depending on the development of the situation.
Moreover, the diplomatic and consular missions are taking all necessary measures for the preparation and safe implementation of the evacuation of citizens who have expressed their readiness for this.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade is in constant communication with friendly countries and international partners in order to coordinate and successfully implement the procedure. For citizens who are in the United Arab Emirates and the State of Qatar, according to the information and guidelines from the competent institutions, there are currently no safe conditions for evacuation.
For Macedonian citizens who are in Israel, potential alternatives for their safe evacuation are already being actively considered and coordinated, the Ministry informs.
