Since this Government was elected, we have regulated relations with our colleagues for the most part. When I say for the most part, it is 95 percent or more, through Collective Agreements that have a deadline for implementation by 2028, said Macedonian Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski at a session of the Economic and Social Council (ESC).
PM Mickoski pointed out that unlike before, this Government is acting responsibly and is undertaking obligations to implement only until the term of office until 2028.
Mickoski informed that at Monday’s session there was information about the amount of the minimum wage that will be in 2026 according to the law, indicating that he expects this information to be passed at a government session tomorrow.
“Today’s agenda is information about the amount of the minimum wage, which will be in 2026 according to the law. I expect that at the next government session we will pass it as a government and then normally, in accordance with the minimum wage from April to March, it will start being paid,” Mickoski noted, adding that he expects the bipartite dialogue between employers and workers to continue to intensify in the future.
