Monday marks 25 years since the death of eight members of the Army reserve force near the LjubotenskiBachila area.
On August 10, 2001, eight members of the Army reserve force lost their lives in a military truck on the road to the LjubotenskiBachila area when a mine was activated: Tome Badarovski, GoceChankulovski, BrankoJanev, TomislavNastevski, MarjanchoBoshkovski, IvicaZlatevski, Tome Dimovski and RadeJankovski.
On this day, tribute is also paid to AcoAngelovski, who died in Arachinovo in 2000 during an armed attack on a police patrol.
A delegation of the General Staff of the Army and the Ministry of Defence, led by Army Chief of Staff, Major-General SashkoLafchiski, will lay flowers on Monday at several memorials across Skopje to mark 25 years since the death of eight army reservists in the area LjubotenskiBachila.
The activities will commemorate the Army reservists who lost their lives in the 2001 conflict.
