Sixty-three to sixty-four products, which are strategic for the country, will be exported to the US with a single-digit tariff of zero to six and a half percent, said Macedonian Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski and announced that this would be confirmed with a joint statement Thursday.
“I expect all of this to be confirmed with a joint statement today. I expect favorable news from there and I expect somewhere around sixty-three to sixty-four products, which are strategic for us, to have a favorable tariff, which will be single-digit and will range between zero and six and a half percent,” said Mickoski in response to a reporter’s question whether he expects a favorable decision on tariffs from the U.S. after laying the cornerstone for a s school sports arena in Karposh.
The PM adds that they have been conducting very active and fierce negotiations in recent months and that such favorable rates are the result of these negotiations.
