The forensic report from the exhumation of the body of a 35-year-old woman, previously identified by the media as Marija Marinkovska, showing that she was also a victim of the suspected serial killer, the 25-year-old from Malotino in the municipality of Staro Nagorichane, emerged from the Public Prosecutor’s Office (PPO) briefing on Monday.

The investigation into the suspect in the murder of a 78-year-old Chelopek resident is being expanded for another murder, prosecutor Ljubomir Lape said on Monday.

An investigative procedure is being conducted against the same suspect, which effectively expands the investigation into another criminal offense – murder. According to the Criminal Code, this constitutes a criminal offense of murder under Article 123, paragraph 3, which is punishable by life imprisonment, said the prosecutor after Monday’s press briefing on the case.

The PPO announced that another exhumation will be carried out in the coming days, for another victim who is suspected of being murdered.

“So far, there is evidence of two murders, as well as one attempted murder, and DNA analysis links the cases to the suspect T.B. who worked as a shepherd,” said the competent prosecutor from the Kumanovo PPO Teuta Bediu Ramadani.
