A total of 4,991 traffic violations were recorded in just one week via the Safe City system, of which 4,674 were for speeding.
In the period from February 2 to February 8, 2026, the Safe City system in the areas of the cities and Corridors where cameras are installed, registered a total of 4,991 violations, of which 641 measures for violations committed by drivers who were driving a vehicle with foreign license plates.
Of the total number of registered violations, the largest number is for driving a vehicle at a speed exceeding the permitted limit – 4,674 violations, then for running a red light – 163, and for driving a vehicle with an expired traffic license 154 violations were recorded.
Also, a total of 288 driving ban measures were issued, of which 163 were for running a red light and 125 were for speeding. Up to 22,434 vehicles were tolerated within the envisaged permitted deviation in speed.
