The failure to adopt the new Electoral Code once again confirmed the true policy of SDSM, Levica and DUI, which is – the worse for Macedonia, the better for them, VMRO-DPMNE spokesperson Valentin Manasievski told a press briefing on Monday.
“When the country has the opportunity to fulfill another reform obligation, they choose gridlock. We will once again be leaders in the region. Out of 10 reforms, we implemented 9 ourselves. We did not reach that last one, precisely because of the gridlock by SDSM, Levica and DUI. Because when consensus is needed, they choose confrontation,” said Manasievski.
By doing so, they showed that their goal is not a better Electoral Code, nor a better electoral process, adds the party spokesperson.
“Their only goal is for Macedonia to have no new reform success, so that they can then politically profit from the stalemate that they themselves are creating,” noted Manasievski.
