The third organized evacuation flight carrying passengers from Qatar, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and Bahrain landed Wednesday evening at the Pristina airport.
As Macedonian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade TimchoMucunski said, the passengers were previously transported to Riyadh by organized transport, from where they safely left the region by special flight.
“There were 151 passengers on the plane, of which 109 were Macedonian citizens, as well as citizens of several other countries. The evacuation was carried out based on a previously established plan and in coordination with the competent institutions,” readsMucunski’ssocial media post.
The minister adds that the safety of Macedonian nationals remains our highest priority and that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade (MFAFT) remains at the disposal of all our citizens who need support in the affected regions.
