In addition to infrastructure investments, the Government has allocated nearly MKD 770 million for scientific research, twice the amount provided in 2024, Macedonian Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski said Wednesday.

“The Government has allocated up to MKD 770 million per year to support our scientists and researchers. But it’s not just that. As a Government, we have also provided free access to two scientific databases of journals, for the first time provided by the government to be available free of charge, for scientists, researchers to use when creating their own scientific papers,” said Mickoski.

The PM stresses that the Government will continue to invest in science and that this will remain a priority.
