The economic growth of 4.3 percent in the second quarter is good news for the country. What is even more important is that investments, exports and the processing industry are behind this growth, the ruling VLEN said Sunday.
Investments increased by 16.5 percent, exports by 10.4 percent, while the processing industry recorded a growth of 4.1 percent. Companies are investing more, production is expanding, and our products are finding a place in foreign markets, VLEN said in a press relese.
Through the Ministry of Economy and Labor led by Besar Durmishi, MKD 1.23 billion, or EUR 20 million, have been allocated this year for domestic companies. These funds are intended for companies that want to expand production, purchase equipment and create new jobs, VLEN added.
VLEN will continue to support this policy. There is still work to be done, but businesses already know that at the head of the Ministry of Economy and Labor they have a partner who listens to them and supports them when they invest, reads the party’s press release.
