With special respect and gratitude, today we pay tribute to the holy brothers Cyril and Methodius, the pan-Slavic educators and founders of Slavic literacy and spirituality, the ruling VMRO-DPMNE said greeting marking Ss. Cyril and Methodius Day.
“The work of Saints Cyril and Methodius is deeply rooted in the Macedonian national history and cultural identity. Their educational mission knows no boundaries, because they laid the foundations of literacy, education and spiritual values that still unite us today.
This great holiday reminds us of our obligation to worthily preserve and cherish the Macedonian language, to respect tradition, to invest in education and to pass on this priceless heritage to future generations,” the ruling party said.
