Zoran Zaev and of course his friend Venko Filipche are involved In the case involving 40 tons of seized marijuana, VMRO-DPMNE MP Brane Petrushevski told a press briefing on Monday.
“Zaev himself confirmed his involvement, he showed up to defend himself, instead of apologizing to the citizens for all the crimes he has committed. Nobody trusts Zaev anymore, but with his complaints on Facebook, he himself showed that he was hit and caught red-handed. Something that is clear to the public is the undoubted fact that his government has become famous by actualizing the marijuana business, sold as care for the health of citizens or cannabis for medical purposes. However, it is also a fact that about 70 percent of the seized drugs these days are owned by a company owned by Zaev’s people. We are talking about a company owned by a person who was the president of the SDS municipal board in Novo Selo. That is Toni Kotev known as M’gchev who in turn runs businesses with Vice Zaev. Of course, the founder of the marijuana business, the SDS government led by Zaev when Filipche was Minister of Health, created rules according to its own measure and awarded businesses according to its own measure, or to its own people. Now follows a complete clearing of crime in this area. Everyone who is involved in cultivation, up to the production of finished marijuana products, will be checked. And for the connection between Zaev and Filipche, let them personally give answers to the public for a start. Where did Zaev appear when the five tons of drugs were seized in Serbia, why did Filipche rush to the south,” Petrushevski stressed.
“The case will be complete only if the PPO investigates all aspects, including Zaev and Filipche’s connection to the case,” Petrushevski added.
