Nothing new on the political scene when it comes to SDS, only information about spending citizens’ money, wastefulness, disrespect for the laws and the Constitution, the ruling VMRO-DPMNE said in a press release Monday.
“What is current these days from the wastefulness of the SDS that citizens have witnessed these days? The defunct SPO worked on the edge of the law, the most frequent guests were Zoran Zaev, Radmila Shekerinska, advisors to Oliver Spasovski, the main prosecutorial couple were Lenche Ristoska and Gavril Bubevski, the budget was spent on coffee, hazelnuts, for contracts for relatives and friends of the SPO prosecutors, as well as for people from SDS. This information was conveyed to the public by Lejla Kadriu, a former prosecutor from the defunct SPO, a current lawyer who worked in the Tetovo Public Prosecutor’s Office before the SPO. The details show that the SPO unnecessarily spent millions of euros on citizens. In just two months in 2015, a million euros were spent, which obviously requires an investigation. Hence, the chief SPO prosecutor Katica Janeva, who after the SPO was dissolved ended up with a 7-year prison sentence for taking a bribe, and last year received conditional release with an obligation to report to the Skopje Criminal Court until the end of the sentence, called herself a million-dollar girl. According to Kadriu’s testimony, the main ones in the SPO were Lenche Ristoska, a candidate for state public prosecutor, and Gavril Bubevski, who wanted another term in the Skopje Public Prosecutor’s Office. Ristoska and Bubevski were known in the SPO as people who do not respect the law. Both were happy about the presence of Zaev and Shekerinska in the SPO and received cases from them without making any records. In other words, anyone could take a document in these cases and add a new one at any time. Or in short, Ristoska and Bubevski were only playing professionals. Political influence, apart from the presence of people from the SDS leadership, was also seen through the presence of their advisors. Hence, the SPO, instead of an institution for law enforcement, was mainly a gathering place for the SDS leadership. Not only were there dictates in the SPO, there were also attempts to control the judiciary as to who should be accused, how many people should be indicted and who. And according to Kadriu’s testimony, a fake case was created for Vladimir Panchevski, the then president of the Skopje Criminal Court. Now the head of the SDS is Zaev’s friend, Venko Filipche, who himself says that he is in contact with the teacher. Does this SDS with Filipche have the same strategy of disrespecting the law and the Constitution, influencing the judiciary, stealing citizens’ money as Zaev commanded, the ruling party noted.
One thing is clear, VMRO-DPMNE will put an end to this practice, VMRO-DPMNE adds.
