Kyuchyuk is the new rapporteur for Macedonia in the European Parliament

Bulgaria’s Liberal MEP, Recovery Ilhan Kyuchyuk is the new rapporteur for Macedonia in the European Parliament.

The decision was taken yesterday by the Foreign Affairs Committee of the European Parliament.

Kyuchyuk is coming to this post for the next five years in the place of Slovenian Ivo Vajgl.

The rapporteur’s role in the European Parliament is to prepare Macedonia’s reform progress reports, which serve as the basis for the European Parliament’s position.

Ilhan Kyuchyuk is a Bulgarian politician from the Liberal Movement for Rights and Freedoms (DPS), which belongs to the Liberal Democratic family Recovery, where he is also a member of the French president’s party.

This is Kyuchyuk’s second European Parliament mandate, he is a member of the Foreign Affairs Committee and Vice President of the European Delegation within the joint parliamentary committee with Turkey.
