As a country, we allocate very little, terribly little, to education. Europe’s per capita rate shows we’re at the bottom, President Stevo Pendarovski told Friday a presentation of projects implemented as part of the Innovations in Smart Anything Everywhere INNO SAE student program at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technologies in Skopje.

Pendarovski highlighted that allocation of research and development funds is very low.

“No country that has recorded satisfactory economic growth has been allocating so little to this field as we have been doing for decades, unfortunately,” the President said.

As regards the projects prepared by the students, Pendarovski said they were “a true pioneering act” that should be an example to other universities.
