Government spends more than 290,000 euros on renovations amid state of emergency

The Macedonian government has spent more than 290,000 euros on renovations since the start of the state of emergency on March 3rd, as of May 24th.

It signed the first contract on April 16, 2020, to replace carpentry, and in connection with the implementation of energy efficiency measures in accordance with the air pollution program. The value is 273,673 euros, and it covers 12 municipalities, a company that won the tender from Kavadarci registered as MI KOMCERC 2000 Zlatko.

Earlier, in December and November, the government also made public procurements for the same purpose, only for different municipalities, and the total value is 432,228 thousand euros. The same company received these purchases. She won other tenders, the most expensive being in the Municipality of Aerodrom. 812,532 realized in two phases were spent for reconstruction of residential buildings. The second purchase was made six days later, and weighs 20,637 euros, in order to adapt to Villa Vodno 2. The tender was won by a company from Skopje, registered as SOLAS-EX-IM.

The company SOLAS-EX-IM, according to the records, started winning tenders in 2016, the highest one was the 134,309 thousand euros worth for the Municipality of Tetovo, intended for demolition of buildings. We asked the Government for an opinion on all this, but we did not receive an answer until the beginning of this news.
