More than 85% of the deceased had chronic diseases or sought help too late, says Filipche

Minister of Health Venko Filipce pointed out that a huge number of those who died from COVID-19 had other chronic diseases.

“A huge percentage of patients had a severe form of another chronic disease, over 85% had other medical conditions. Many come to the hospital too late, says Filipche.

According to the Minister, curfew as a measure to combat the spread of COVID-19 is currently not a solution.
