The data available to the Free Zones Authority show that the total number of jobs that existing investors have committed to fill as a minimum number is 21,370 jobs, and that number is filled with 14,076, or 66 percent.

Some of the projects are still ongoing, but our obligation will be to consistently monitor the observance of the commitments made by investors in the country. We will closely monitor compliance with deadlines in the implementation of the employment plan. The commitment for opening of additional 7,300 jobs in the next years for which the state signed agreements with the investors, will be closely monitored and we expect to be realized,” Director of the Free Zones Authority Jovan Despotovski told a press conference.
